Stage 13 of La Vuelta a España today: route, profile, schedule, and where to watch online and on TV

The Vuelta a España completes its 80th edition in 2025. It's no ordinary year for the third Grand Tour of the cycling calendar, as the organizers pay tribute to its history with the start in Italy , thus completing its tour of the main cycling nations after France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Starting in Piedmont, the home of Angelo Conterno, the first of six Italian winners of La Vuelta, the peloton also passed through France, Andorra, and Spain in an edition that features the novelty that the southernmost point will be the capital, Madrid , and only for the final stage.
It is also worth noting that Valladolid will host the only individual time trial of the 2025 Vuelta a España on September 11 , a key stage just three days from the end of the competition, with a completely urban route of 27.2 kilometers. Vingegaard is the big favorite to wear the red jersey in Madrid on September 14, a jersey he recovered on Tuesday by snatching it from the then surprising leader Torstein Træen , a Norwegian from Team Bahrain Victorious who has already lost places in the general classification .
The queen stage of La Vuelta a España 2025. More than 200 kilometers of the day that culminates in the legendary L'Angliru , a relatively new port in international cycling and which was last climbed in La Vuelta in 2023 with a victory for Primož Roglič .
There will be around 150 flat kilometres (the start is in the Cantabrian town of Cabezón de la Sal) that the riders will take advantage of to try to consolidate a breakaway before facing the toughest part of this Friday: the Alto del Cordal , with a very tough climb and a somewhat dangerous descent, and, above all, L'Angliru , with a 12.4 kilometre climb with an average gradient of 9.7% and ramps of up to 23% .
After a Thursday session that was somewhat of a transitional day for the favorites, this Friday we expect to see moves from Vingegaard, Almeida, and Pidcock, the top three in the general classification .

Stage 13 of La Vuelta a España 2025 will start at around 11:50 a.m. , with the organizers estimating its finish time at around 5:14 p.m. RTVE will broadcast all stages free-to-air via its various channels (La 1, La 2, and Teledeporte), as well as on RTVE Play , its streaming and on-demand content platform. Thursday's stage will be broadcast first on Teledeporte until 3:55 p.m., at which point the signal switches to La 1 .
The alternative to the public broadcaster is Eurosport , which broadcasts all stages of La Vuelta on its first channel (Eurosport 1), as well as, of course, on its streaming platform HBO Max . And remember, you can also follow all the news about La Vuelta on abc.es.
