Lando Norris led the chaotic first Formula 1 test in Bahrain

Formula 1 opened the season at the Bahrain tests, where the teams carried out tests and measured various parameters for a difficult 2025 season. In this context, the British driver of the McLaren team, Lando Norris , recorded the best time on the first day of practice.

Norris, who finished runner-up in last year's premier class, completed 52 laps and set a best time of 1:30.430. Mercedes compatriot George Russell was second, 157 thousandths behind, while four-time world champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull) was third, 244 thousandths behind .
