Lamine Yamal made his scoring debut for the number 10 in South Korea . The winger's two goals helped propel Barça to a 7-3 victory over FC Seoul in their second pre-season friendly. The rout, however, came in Lamine's absence, as the team proved more consistent and better than an opponent who gradually declined after drawing level at 2-2. Already a winner in Japan against Vissel Kobe (1-3), Barcelona put in a strong performance on the day they debuted their second kit, a tribute to Kobe Bryant. The stars of a very relaxed match against Seoul were Lamine and later Ferran, who expressed Barça's collective play.

The Blaugrana quickly found Hyeon-Mu Kang's goal. A clumsy referee's transition, having been poorly positioned, ended with a goal for Lewandowski (8th minute). The Pole capitalized on Lamine's shot being blocked by the post after being set up by Olmo. As in Kobe, the focus of the match was on Lamine, who was particularly quick and unbalanced, always positioned to receive the ball against the FC Seoul defenders. Before the goal, the winger had already claimed a penalty and then scored the 0-2 (13th minute), his first goal in the number 10 jersey, with a shot narrowly missing the left post, to the astonishment of the Seoul World Cup Stadium crowd.

Seoul, fourth in the K-League, a team featuring Englishman Jesse Lingard, Rashford's former teammate at Manchester United, provided a very open and entertaining contest on a hot matchday (33rd). Lingard was decisive in the early stages of the play that led to striker Cho Young-Wook's goal (25th minute). A loss by the ever-present Lamine led to a very confusing and devilish play for Joan García, a starter just like in Kobe . Although an offside was called, the goal rewarded Seoul's offensive prowess and exposed the vulnerability of Barcelona's defense. From the 2-1 lead onwards, the game deteriorated at times, with losses and inaccuracies occurring, much to Flick's concern.

The instability of the Blaugrana side was evident just before halftime after Olmo had made it 3-1. Seoul equalized (2-2) with a surprising goal from center back Yazan Al-Arab, who came on and surprised Joan García (min. 46). The Blaugrana responded immediately with the help of the disruptive Lamine. The forward broke into space, controlled Olmo's through ball, cut inside Jin-Su Kin (min. 47) and fired a left-footed shot inside the Seoul right post. The Blaugrana extended their lead (2-4) shortly after the start of the second half with a cross from outside the box by Christensen (min. 54).

Despite Flick's substitution of the starting eleven, Barcelona compromised their dominance on the pitch with errors such as that of Roony, whose poor back pass forced a superb save from Szczesny. The Blaugrana quickly made amends and began to find the back of the net thanks to Ferran's runs and runs. The forward completed a superb team move, which featured a special intervention from Jofre Torrents, with a focused control and a finish to make it 2-5 (73rd minute). He then completed the score (3-7) with a goal following a through ball from Rashford (89th minute). Two more goals remained in the middle: a beautiful one from Gavi with a turn, a half-turn, and a left-footed shot (76th minute), and Seoul's third, scored by Han Ming Jung (85th minute).

Barça have been active very early in the two matches of their Asian tour after starting preseason on the 13th. On Monday, they face the third and final match against Gaegu, before returning to Barcelona to prepare for the Joan Gamper Trophy, which they will celebrate on the 10th against Como at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.

Barcelona started with Joan García; Koundé, Aruajo, Cubarsí, Balde; Pedri, De Jong, Olmo; Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski and Raphinha. Second part: Szczesny; Héctor Fort, Christensen, Gerard Martín, Jofre Torrents; Casadó, Gavi (Guille Fernándea, d.76), Fermín; Roony (Toni Fernández, m.76), Ferran and Rashford.
