Antonio Sánchez, Atlas' goalkeeper, makes his debut this Saturday against Cruz Azul.

This Saturday's match at the Jalisco Stadium will feature the debut of one of Atlas' players. Goalkeeper Antonio Sánchez will see his first minutes in the top flight, following the absence of goalkeeper César Ramos .

The young red-and-black will appear between the posts after goalkeeper César Ramos suffered an upset stomach. In addition to being without Camilo Vargas due to injury, the young goalkeeper will receive his first opportunity in the top flight.

Sánchez Montes de Oca is originally from Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, he is 25 years and five months old, and his beginnings as a soccer player were in the now extinct Jaguares de Chiapas .

During his time as a goalkeeper, he left the Jaguares in 2017 to join Atlas , where he has remained until now. However, he had a brief spell on loan for one season, after being loaned to Correcaminos de la UAT.

During his time in the Expansion League, he had the opportunity to debut against Atlético Morelia at the Estadio Morelos , where the Correcaminos team fell 2-0 to the Michoacan team.

Sánchez will have a difficult debut in one of the most important matches of the tournament for the red-and-blacks at home , after upcoming visits from clubs such as León, América, and the reigning champion, Toluca.
