45' The first half ended with a bit of a tussle, as both teams needed to cool their tempers after an intense battle. An early goal by FCM was ruled out by VAR, but after that, Prussia had the better chances, but were denied by the impressive Reimann. Magdeburg also put in a good effort, so the 0-0 scoreline at halftime wasn't entirely undeserved.

45' Halftime at the Eintracht Stadium, the Lower Saxony derby already decided after the first half. Yardimci (assault) did his team a disservice, and Källman subsequently scored twice for Hannover. The visitors are in control and could even be leading by a larger margin.

Hugonet is actually unable to continue, so FCM brings on Hyryläinen before the break.

Shortly before halftime, FCK struck – at Justvan's invitation. The attacker carelessly lost the ball in his own half before Kaiserslautern moved quickly. Ritter mishit the ball, but Drexler made an insufficient clearance in his own penalty area into the feet of Hanslik. He controlled the ball with his left foot and fired into the bottom right corner.

40' It's a very intense, hard-fought game in which both teams give it their all. Münster has had more possession and the better chances so far, but FCM is holding its own with a lot of commitment and passion.

39' BTSV struggles to clear the ensuing corner. Chakroun then takes a shot from 16 meters out. Hoffmann just manages to deflect the fluttering shot over the bar.

38' Was that already the end of this derby? Hannover had everything under control and threatened again with Leopold's long-range shot from 18 meters, which Hoffmann deflected around the right post.

What a slapstick goal! Chakroun cuts inside from the left and plays it into the center with the outside of his foot. The pass is deflected and lands at Källman, who shoots from close range. Hoffmann has a clear shot on goal, but can't hold onto the ball and ends up pushing it over the line himself.

35' And now it's Schenk who keeps his team in the game! Atik serves a free kick from the right to the far post, where Ahl-Holmström leaps in powerfully and heads the ball from close range at the quick-reacting keeper. On the follow-up, Müller fires the ball wide from close range, but a Münster player's leg was in the way, resulting in a corner.

Ter Horst holds and works on Nollenberger in his own penalty area, but ends up hitting the player on the foot. The yellow card is awarded.

The left winger arrives too late against Markhiev and receives the first yellow card of the game.

Hannover scores! Bundu goes past three Braunschweig players on the right, charges through, and then plays a low pass into the center, where Källman slides the ball into the net.

Sertdemir plays a dream pass to the striker on the left side of the halfway line, where Müller and Nollenberger simply stop and let Batmaz escape. 90' Hertha celebrates its second home win of the season – and it was a very emotional one. The Berliners benefited from Düsseldorf's poor conversion of chances in the first half and took control after the restart. But they also missed several opportunities. In the closing stages, both teams played with open sights, with the hosts getting the better of the game. Krattenmacher scored a spectacular goal in stoppage time to seal the victory.
