FC Bayern receives the championship trophy on Saturday

FC Bayern Munich will celebrate its 34th football championship with its fans at home. The Munich team will receive the championship trophy early on Saturday in their home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Thomas Müller will lift the 13th trophy.
Thomas Müller can look forward to an atmospheric final title party at the Munich Arena. The 35-year-old and his FC Bayern teammates will be presented with the championship trophy after the home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach next Saturday ( live in the radio report starting at 6:30 p.m. on the BR24Sport Live Center ), as announced by the German Football League (DFL).
Müller sets new championship recordBayern's 34th championship title has been confirmed since Sunday evening. For Müller, it's the 13th time he's lifted the coveted trophy with the Munich club, making him the record champion. The longtime fan favorite and 2014 World Cup winner's expiring contract with Bayern will not be extended.
The match against Mönchengladbach will therefore be Müller's last home game as a professional for the German record champions. This summer, the attacker will then travel to the Club World Cup in the USA with the Munich team.
Championship celebration on the town hall balcony live on BRUntil now, it had been unclear whether Bayern would be presented with the trophy after their match with Borussia Dortmund or perhaps only on matchday 34 away at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
You can watch the FC Bayern women's and men's championship celebrations on May 18th live from the Munich town hall balcony from 1:15 p.m. live on BR television and BR24Sport in the ARD Mediathek.
