Aleksander Čeferin, UEFA President

"Just three weeks ago, I had the honor of presenting Diogo Jota with a medal following the UEFA Nations League final—a moment of joy, pride, and celebration that will now be forever etched in his memory. His passion, energy, and spirit on the pitch inspired everyone around him. It's devastating that a life full of joy and potential was cut short far too soon. Rest in peace, dear Diogo. You will not be forgotten."
